Craft Corner

I set up a new space for my crafting supplies today. It's really not a corner, though I like the sound of that. I have this bookcase at the top of my stairs. It's readily accessible and it inspires me each time I see everything so organized. It's great to have the little things all in one place. Have you seen the new issue of Where Women Create? This is a far cry from the gorgeous studios that grace the pages of the Spring issue. Truly inspirational.

Spent some time last night working on eggs for the Easter Egg Swap I joined. Here are two of them.

Here's a close up of each of them.

Each participant in the Swap needs to make six eggs. I have a lavender one started, then three more to go. They are a lot of fun to make. It will be such fun to receive a garland of totally different eggs!! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!

Smooches for Rachel........

I cannot believe it, chickee!!! I'm getting ready to do a post on my blog within the next week or so about creating your own spaces for crafting, etc!!! Yep, it would do you well to read it when it comes out. It's long and talks about "our own space" and not those of magazines. I truly can't believe it, honey. Wooooooooooeeee, you're thinking the same things I am about our "space for me"!

xoxo,
Connie

Cute eggs! It's nice to have all your stuff in one place, and you've got a nicely organized spot. I'm sure it will help you in your crafting - you make beautiful things!

The egg swap sounds like fun!!
And your corner looks nice & neat. Reminds me that I need to get organized...AGAIN!!lol I have a bad habit of tearing through my stuff like a kid opening presents on Christmas morning.
How is the weather down there? I miss it!!

Oh what a fabulous idea... I love the new craft area!!! Thanks so much for dropping by my blog and for your cute comment. It really made my day. You're right! The doodling journal page did take a lot of effort - thank you for noticing!

All my best,
Holly

You eggs turned out really cute.

Sometimes you just have to use what you have to put your stamp on a place where you can keep your crafts. It works you created those eggs.

Hi Joyce,
Thank you for your well wishes!!
Lovely Easter eggs to swap. It's good to create and even better when you have a spot that is always open to create in. Almost the week and I'm feeling the need to thrift!!

I am having fun catching up on your posts. Those Easter eggs are very cute. I'm sure the person who gets them in the swap will be thrilled. I love that magazine and I can't wait to see McKenzie Childs studio in this issue.
