Time

Where does it go? May disappeared in the blink of an eye! All I can say is that it has been a full month and a fun month. Let's see. What have I been up to???

May's Artists Trading Cards . . . The theme was "texture".

The theme for the May edition of my Altered Book Club was "The Letter A".
Here is my two page spread . . .

I picked my favorite number seven for the "Numbers Charm Swap" . . . The 7 colors of the rainbow . . .

A tussie mussie for my mother . . .

A Mail Art swap . . .

There are four more swaps coming . . . a Bird card exchange, a Dolls, Dolls, Dolls paper doll swap, an embellished acrylic flower keychain swap, a zipper pull charm swap and I have a Halloween Fat Book swap. Ongoing I have my ATC Club - June theme - "things that fly", my June Altered Book Club - June theme - "The Art of Happiness" and my Basic Grey Scrapbooking Club. Can you tell I'm enjoying this?

School is out June 3rd here in south Florida. Yay! It will be nice to only worry about getting me out in the morning for awhile.

I finally got a new front door! Mine had a crack in it for about, oh maybe ten years!! Love this door! Why did I wait so long???

And yes, you do see a pumpkin sitting on my plant stand right there by the door. Do you believe that in this tropical paradise we live in, I still have a pumpkin outside that has not turned to mush yet? I'm in awe. Can't wait to see how long it lasts! I'll keep you posted on that one!

Thrill upon thrill for me is that for the first time in my life . . . drumroll please . . . my orchid bloomed! I've never had an orchid and this pretty little orchid was one of five, but the only one to survive. And she bloomed!!! She is beautiful!!!

Just about every day now I am blessed with a new pink hibiscus in bloom. I shall never take them for granted.

That's what I've been up to in this month that sped on by. Well, that and all the season finale's that have been monopolizing my time. Thank goodness it's summertime!

A wonderful Memorial Day weekend to all!!

A huge thank you to all those that serve our great country so that we may be free.

Happy Mother's Day

My twenty year old son, Logan, just did something I will cherish all the days of my life. He sent me a dozen roses for Mother's Day. I am so touched that he called my office to find out from Karen where I would be today, as I am covering a vacation in one of our offices an hour from home. He got the address, went online to order, wrote a beautifully touching card to accompany, and made my day by this act of kindness, love and gratitude. Being a mother is truly the best, most fulfilling blessing. Happy Mother's Day to all!
