Seize Your Moments

Life has been so very interesting lately. My mother-in-law became a Hospice patient last night. She left the hospital on Monday for rehab and it was determined yesterday that she was unable to participate in the rehab plan of care due to her progressive decline in cardiac functioning. She will be evaluated this coming week for the next step. Thank you all for your well wishes. Only God knows our journey. We need to make the most of our ride.

I've been so immersed in my MIL that I forgot to acknowledge my one year blogaversary this past Sunday, April 26th. It is such fun to have this outlet and it has been wonderful making many new blogging friends. I want to have a giveaway because they are always a hit. I'm debating on finding something really unique, fun and pretty to give away, or to offer a gift certificate to perhaps either Michael's or Home Goods. My personal life situation right now will have to be my determining factor, so I will see how things go the rest of this week and whether I'm able to go blogaversary shopping or not. Either way, please check back with me. My goal will be to post my giveaway by this coming Sunday, May 3rd. Keep us in your prayers, please - strength for God's will. Thanks!!

Happy Blogerversry again Joyce and don't worry aboutYour mother in law she will go peacefully mostly because she has you. You've been there for her Joyce and she knows that so your life may change once she is gone. But something wonderful will happen to you and it will because you took such care of your MIL...God sees all!

Joyce, my thoughts and prayers are with you. You are such a kind hearted woman, I know your Mother in Law is benefiting from your care. I hope you can find some peace during this tough time.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your nice comments. The very first people to look at our place have decided to make an offer! I'll keep you posted. Now I just have to find a new place (and start the "fixing up" stuff all over again. . . bleah!) I want a small, cute all-ready nice house and my husband wants one he can remodel and flip. Sometimes I can't remember why I married him.

I think you will be admirably blessed with what you're doing for your children's grandmother, sugar. What a sweet thing for you to do. I wouldn't worry about the anniversary until you are more settled but I'm thrilled for you to have reached a year of blogging.
Smooches to Rachel,
Connie

It is never easy to lose someone close to you, even if you know it's coming. Enjoy what you can and your MIL will know how much you care about her.

Hugs.

Our family has gone through this recently as you know, Joyce. Be there as much as you can. Hold her hand.
Those moments are the ones you smile about, thankful you were there, as you drive down the road... thinking about her...
God Bless.

Hang in there, Joyce. And take one day at a time. And eat some chocolate for your soul.

I'm so happy to have you in my cyberfamily, Joyce. Your mother-in-law was truly blessed to have such a loving daughter-in-law.

I'm just strolling through your posts backwards.

Congratulations on your blogoversary! I agree with Mare. You deserve some chocolate.
