A picture of where I like to sit and read

Here is a shot of the corner of my living room where I love to sit and read. I can see the television if I want; I can view the patio if something interesting catches my eye and I can see my dining room which I think is so pretty.

Here is a picture of my dining room table for Spring. I need to figure out how to post more pictures with commentary like the rest of you do it. I'll get there - give me some time. Also, here is a picture of my kitchen junk drawer that I just added some pretty cherry drawer liner to. Of course I must figure out how to get this posted accurately, but you get the idea, right?? :)

My red powder room

Love my new template!!!!

After much searching, I finally found a template that best reflects me. I love peaceful, serene and pretty and that is the feeling I get when I look at this template. I have much to do today so I best get started. I want to organize my craft supplies and pictures. I recently painted a very narrow (depth-wise) bookcase black and have filled it with empty baskets that I got for 40% off at Michael's. I want to get my pictures out of those photo boxes and into these baskets for easy retrieval, until I can get them into some of the pretty photo albums that I've purchased over the past year. I have the bookcase in the hallway outside of the kids bathroom. I have another wall adjacent to the bookcase that I painted red not too long ago. I want to fill my red wall with some special snapshots I like. I've already purchased various sizes of black frames with white mats. I will show you what it looks like when I've finished it. Storing photo's and albums is one of the most difficult things, I think. I don't really like the look of the boxes and albums take up so much room. Any ideas that you have found to work are welcome!!

The World of Blogging

I cannot believe all of the wonderful things people do with blogs. I only hope that I can one day be as crafty!!!! I love the pictures!!!!! It is just the greatest thing. I want people to want to read my blog. I love My Romantic Home!!! Cindy is phenomenal!!!!! I will learn this new thing and I hope to one day have a blog as wonderful as Cindy's. Onward bound!!!!!

Ocean Drive

I took a drive along A1A today. It was simply beautiful. The water was crystal blue, the waves crashed so majestically on the shoreline. The air was clean, the sky so blue, the gentle breezes flowing so softly. A beautiful, beautiful day.

Wow! My first entry! I am on a justified journey of my life and I welcome anyone interested to join me. As this is my beginning, please bear with me as I learn and grow. I love beauty in all things and I hope to make this as beautiful as so many of the other blogs I've viewed. Haven't a clue, but that is part of the journey. I love decorating, crafting jewelry, scrapbooking, reading, writing, talking, learning, growing. I love people an the things that make us tick. I love to cook, bake and create. I also love to move my furniture around and I drive my family, including my dogs, absolutely nuts!!! It's interesting and exciting. I want pictures, beautiful backgrounds, a place you will want to return to. Let's enjoy the journey!
