Valentine Tags Are Done!!!

What a weekend! I went to the movies and saw, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", which was excellent, and I also saw, "Slumdog Millionaire", which was superbly phenomenal. Highly recommend both.

I also caught up on six (yes, six) episodes that I Tivo'd of Grey's Anatomy. And if that wasn't enough, Rachel sold Girl Scout cookies outside of Publix - what fun!! We (and I say "we" literally) have been in Girl Scouts since Rachel was five years old. We have sold LOTS of Girl Scout cookies.

Tonight I finally finished my Valentine Tag Book for my mom. I love it! In my last post I showed you the first four tags, front and back. Here are the fronts of the last three tags . . . Notice the embroidered "Mom" - done freehand . . . pretty cool, I must admit.

And here are the backs . . .

And one view of the finished product . . .

And another view, which I think looks better on the dark background . . .

These Valentine tags are for my mom, whose name is Esther, hence the "E" on the cover. I am very pleased with them and really felt it was such a fun project. I'm psyched! I can't wait to get them in the mail to her. I think my sweet mother will enjoy looking at all the pretties, just like her.

Now on to the next project . . .

Joyce-
Those Heart tags are adorable..you really have a "Nack" with crafts. I don't remember the last time I sat down and did anything crafty and I always did years ago--you make me want to start again.

And your mom looks so beautiful in that photo...

Cute pic of your GS! We'll be doing the same outside of Lowe's this weekend. Our weather won't be nearly as nice as yours - we're usually freezing our heinies off. Sometimes that works to our advantage - people feel really sorry for the girls and buy more cookies!

Your Mom is adorable. She'll love that tag book. You did a fabulous job with it.

Chloe and I are almost done with the swap stuff. We just need to take pics and get the boxes ready for the mail. Love the Valentine theme of this swap!

Take care and sell lots of cookies!
