Let Us Create

It is such fun to go to craft stores. I have a Joann's and a Michael's nearby and I just love going to find new things to craft with. I recently read in someone's blog about a type of ink they use and highly recommended. I hate to admit that I cannot remember where I read it so I apologize for not giving credit where credit is due. I've been searching for a little while for this particular type of ink and am thrilled that I found it today at Joann's. It is called Ranger Distress Ink and the "Vintage Photo" is apparently one to die for. I also picked up the "Tea Die" and just cannot wait to use both of them. They were $4.99 each, but on sale for 40% off!

I also picked up this pad of designer scrapbook paper that is double-sided. I have a very neat "thing" that Rachel and I will be making for our Vintage Valentine Swap partners, but hush . . . it's a secret. These papers will be perfect, but I can't show you the finished product, lest I spoil the surprise.

There are so many pretty pages . . .

There won't be any time to sit and craft this week until Thursday night. I'm so anxious to get started because I have so many ideas floating around in my head. I can't wait to get started!!

Oh Joyce, I have one Distress Ink color, it's a darker brownish (can't think of the name of it) that I use to make something look older than it is, I love it.

Your scrapbook papers are super-lovely! I feel like a trip to Joann is in order now. ;o)

Hi Joyce!
Love your post on the ink! I'll have to look for it at Michaels the next time I'm there. Your papers are so pretty! I love to look and look at the papers.
I've had a good time "chillin" but will be back on Wednesday! It's so hard to stay away from blogging! I've missed it but enjoyed the time to regroup!!
Big hugs, Sherry

Thanks for stopping by today, Joyce. I have an armoire with not much in it. I think I will invest in some of the items you mentioned. I know which ones you are talking about. I am doing well, emailed our friend RS this morning and she wrote back. Love hearing from her. Will give you a call!
