I am joining Cindy from My Romantic Home for her first Show and Tell Friday. I always loved show and tell as a child, so I'm sure I'll be loving it again now. I'm so excited to share with you my cameo's. I love cameo's. This first one was my grandmother's. It can be worn as either a brooch or as a necklace. I really don't know how old this beautiful piece is, but my "nana" died in 1984 at the age of 84 and I know she had it for years. I would imagine it's at least 60 years old, if not more.
This second cameo is a ring that I bought for myself when I was working at a jewelry store shortly after high school so this ring is pretty darn old also!! I bought it to wear on my index finger as I always loved the look of a large ring on that finger. It's interesting how this ring and my grandmothers brooch are very similar.
This last cameo I bought through a catalog just a couple of years ago. I usually wear it with a white lace top and it always looks so pretty..jpg)

Ohh how romantic. I love Cameos' I have one given to me by my MIL. My FIL gave it to her years ago and she gave it to me.

Your cameo's are lovely. And they are really very special. While I was at a large Antique Fair this past week I saw a number of them & they had a good price attached. Since these are family pieces they are more special.

Your cameos are lovely. I have a few which I love, but for some reason seldom wear. I will have to start wearing them more often -- they are such sentimental jewelry speaking of an earlier, gentler time.

The Cameo is beautiful My mother has a large sea shell with a lady carved on the top ...like a cameo.... I have been trying to talk her into giving it to me but she wont let it go.
