Will Wonders Ever Cease??

Logan got a job! Finally!! He is now going to college full time and working practically full time. He will be 20 years old in April and I have made his life way too comfy for way too long so I must say that it is a true pleasure to see him emerge. He feels good, is having fun at work and making new friends and he's enjoying school. And now I've gone from being sometimes annoyed at him for not doing his share around the house and sleeping till all hours of the afternoon, to missing him because he's never around anymore. Next he'll want to go off on his own. I'll never be able to handle that!! Gosh, we want them to grow up and then when they do, we want them back. This parenting thing can be quite challenging at times!!

I know the feeling Joyce! My son calls every once in awhile, and I'm trying hard not to bug him too much, but I miss him. I don't know what I'll do when Chloe goes off to college! They make you pull your hair out when they're around, but you miss them when they're away. Aaah, parenting!

Thanks for stopping by my blog with your kind words. I hope everything is good with you.

Oh I can feel your pain!! It has been a bittersweet year for me with my baby graduating high school and off to college! When she is home she too is working full time as a CNA. I am so very proud of her for what she is accomplishing but I do wish many days she was still a toddler!! My 23 y.o. son is working and living in another city and I rarely see him so that is another bittersweet experience! But, my 30 y.o. lives nearby so I do see him! Congrats to Logan!
