Thankful Thursday

My goodness! I forgot all about Thankful Thursday today!!! As I sit here at 11:06 pm and contemplate what I am thankful for, so many things come to mind. Having just finished watching the Vice Presidential Debate, I feel thankful for my freedom. What a great country we live in that these two candidates were able to stand there and speak their minds and that we are able to sit back in our chairs and judge them. We all have our favorites, of course. I give them both credit. I could not have stood in either of their shoes. I think they both did a great job because they handled it well and represented their party eloquently.

The election will be interesting. I am thankful that I have the freedom to vote however I choose to vote.

Hi Joyce!
Freedom is a precious blessing! Even with all it's problems and issues, I'm glad I live in America!
I'm catching up on visiting and really enjoyed your post on you & your high school girlfriend. I feel the same way about my best friend Cindy! She has made me who I am today along with others. You and I are very blessed to have such sweet special friends!!
Hugs, Sherry

Good morning Joyce :)

Please accept my apologies if I have never come to visit you. I could have sworn I did, but if you say I didn't I believe you.

The only reason I wouldn't have come over here is that sometimes I'll have two people with the same name and early on, I would erase all the "Mary's" except one and go to that page without thinking there might be more than one. I thought everyone had to register with a different sign on like email.

I hope you'll forgive me, because I would never would have purposely ignored you.

Hi Joyce
Freedom is such a precious thing and we take it so much for granted don't we?
I enjoyed your post about your best friend. Old friends are so precious and you are lucky to have her.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Hugs, Rhondi

I agree with you, America is the best place to live on earth. Wait, that sentence needs to be rewritten. America is the best place on earth to live.

I have profound beliefs about who should win the election, but how wonderful is a country whose leadership can change hands so violence-free.

However things turn out, America will survive and still be the best country in the world.
