Home Goods Hurrah!!

I love to go to Home Goods!!! Sometimes you're lucky and sometimes you're not. This past weekend I was lucky!!!

Aren't these plates just beautiful?!! There were four dinner plates and four dessert plates. Two of the dinner plates had noticeable chips so I left those behind and I felt horrible leaving them alone like that. I contemplated leaving all four of the dinner plates, but decided that I could always use two of them as a cake or pie plate while serving on the matching dessert plates. I just love them! I love the border and the soft, muted colors. I do not have Thanksgiving plates, so while this does not make a complete set, it is a great starting point. I'll have to keep my eyes open to add on to this set. Oh and I almost forgot! The best part of this little find of mine is that I paid just about $8.00 total!! They were having a great Columbus Day sale and I think I got a real bargain!!

I bought a couple of other things that I have not photographed yet, so I'll have to share them at another time, but I was just thrilled with these Thanksgiving plates and had to share.

Hope your week is off to a great start!!

Hi Joyce!
What an incredible find! Those plates are awesome!! I've got to get to Home Goods to see what they have these days. I haven't had time to drive to the best one they have around here. I'm so glad they have a good home with you Joyce!

I love them too. The pastel with the Gobble Gobbler is so unusual and yet, so complimentary ... good to see your smiling face on my site. Love from the Prairie. xoxo.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and your sweet comments. I really appreciate it.

What a terrific find! It's so hard to find Fall things in soft, muted colors, so you were very lucky indeed. Those plates really are pretty. And the price?! What a steal!

I've seen these plates many time and every time I see them I want to buy them but don't. I love them and they would be so cute as a table setting for Thanksgiving.

I like those a lot.

You could use them to put cakes and cookies on them if you don't use them as dinner plates.

Home Goods Rocks......

I've seen those plates at Marshalls too so if you have one close by you might want to look there! I love those plates and I've thought about getting some for myself too!

Hi Joyce,
I saw those plates also and they are so pretty. I was thinking about buying 1 for a display on the mantle for Thanksgiving. I have a small turkey collection with a couple of old turkey plates and figurines:)

Oh wow Joyce, what a bargain you got . Until you find some more , you could pick up one of the colors in the plate and get you some solid ones, to make you more settings.
They are so pretty.
